Southern Style Fried Chicken South Eastern Pennsylvania Style.

Select desire chicken parts.

Clean Chicken thoroughly with cool water.

drain chicken to remove any excess water

while chicken is draining prepare batter.

(needed ingredients)

(flour, (white or wheat can be used) seasoned salt, garlic powder, course black pepper, ms. dash original seasoning, vegetable or corn oil can be used)

season chicken with spices. 

place 2 cups of flour in a gallon size food storage bag. 

two teaspoon seasoned salt, garlic power, course black pepper, ms. dash original season. 

close and shake back until batter ingredients is mixed thoroughly.

place drained chicken in bag and shake contents to cover chicken with a thin coat of batter.

let bag sit with chicken.\

in large frying pan. (12 in, or to your liking or to pieces of chicken)

place 1/3 up of oil

heat pan until oil is frying hot.

place chicken in pan and cook about 4 minutes per side twice.

use estimated cooking guidelines with thermometer and also perhaps cutting in to the middle of the meat to verify no blood is visible .
